She smiled at me on the subway.
She was with another man.
But I won't lose no sleep on that,
'Cause I've got a plan.
You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.
She was with another man.
But I won't lose no sleep on that,
'Cause I've got a plan.
You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.
If he has a plan, how does he not know what to do? The first verse seems to imply that he's worked out a way to get the woman to fall in love with him, and the chorus implies the opposite ('cause I'll never be with you). Either the person in the song is a schizophrenic stalker, or James Blunt, Sacha Skarbek and Amanda Ghost (it took three people to write this crap) are horrible lyricists.
